My name is Monika, and I’m a compassionate, friendly, and experienced Cognitive Behavioral Therapist with over fifteen years of dedicated service in the NHS mental health sector. I specialize in helping individuals like you navigate through challenges such as anxiety, insomnia, stress, trauma, PTSD, low self-esteem, phobias and low mood.

My goal is to empower you to take control of your mental health, develop effective coping strategies and ultimately lead a more fulfilling and balanced life. Whether you’re dealing with persistent anxiety, sleepless nights, traumatic experiences, low self-esteem, a persistent low mood, or intrusive thoughts associated with OCD, I’m here to help you understand and overcome these challenges.

I am an accredited therapist and a member of British Association of  Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies. I provide evidence based therapy and believe that the journey towards mental health and well-being is a collaborative one. I’m committed to working with clients to tailor a treatment plan that suits their individual needs and preferences. Together, we explore thoughts, emotions, and behaviours, helping gain insight and make positive changes.

CBTi Therapy

 Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Insomnia (CBTi) is a treatment program developed to help people who have difficulty with falling asleep, staying asleep, waking multiple times a night or find sleep unrefreshing. CBTi is goal orientated therapy with long lasting benefits and teaches you skills for life.

CBT Therapy

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a goal-oriented, evidence-based therapy that focuses on the relationship between our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. In CBT, we explore how our thoughts and beliefs influence our emotions and actions.

The approach involves identifying and understanding negative thought patterns that contribute to distress or unwanted behaviors. Through collaboration, we work on restructuring these thoughts, developing healthier perspectives, and learning practical skills to manage challenges more effectively.

NET Therapy

Narrative Exposure Therapy (NET) is a treatment for trauma, particularly effective in individuals suffering from complex and multiple trauma. With the guidance of the therapist patient establishes a narrative of their life, concentrating mainly on their traumatic experiences. By expressing the narrative, the patient fills in details of fragmented memories and the memory of a traumatic episode is refined and understood.
